About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time Dental Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and familiarity with dental software systems.

What the role looks like

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care using Dentrix Ascend.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

What you bring

  • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of dental coding and documentation practices is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and dental terminology is essential.
  • Experience in dental assisting can be an advantage but is not required.
