Thanks to our continued growth and the incredible support of our patients, we are moving into a beautiful new, larger, state-of-the-art office in the heart of Aurora. We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a team that truly enjoys working together and takes pride in delivering exceptional care.

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
  • Conduct patient assessments including vital signs and medical history reviews.
  • Utilize Dentrix Ascend for documentation and patient records management.
  • Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular check-ups.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement aseptic techniques to ensure infection control within the clinic.
  • Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices.

What you bring

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation review.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques related to dentistry.
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care.
  • Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
